Despite the unbearable conditions, Sok and her family have reason to smile. World Vision and other NGO's are launching health related programs to assist residents of the dump. Nearby, a school funded by the French NGO, Pour Un Sourire d'Enfant (For the Smile of a Child) has been started. Sok hopes that one of her sons can soon attend the school to learn reading, mathematics and job skills which might make the family's future brighter.
